John
VanDerVoorn
John is a PADI Staff instructor and Master Instructor. He
began diving in 1966, received his PADI instructor certification in
1974, and started Aqua Diving School in 1975. John teaches numerous
specialties. He is an Emergency First Responder Instructor. He was
a Red Cross WSI instructor. John is former chemistry professor at
Illinois Central College and now teaches the scuba classes offered
by ICC, as well as offering the class for Bradley students and faculty
through their IM program. John has taught more people to scuba dive
than anyone in the area. John has traveled throughout the Caribbean
and the Pacific for over 30 years. He is a certified travel expert
for the Far Pacific including Bali, Truk, Palau, Fiji, New Guinea, and Australia.
John loves to guide trips to these exotic locations. |
